It's gotta stop sometime....................doesn't it?

It finally cleared up and dried off enough that I was able to get the lawn tractor out. If not, I would have had grass a foot high by Sunday. :-o

I hope you are right. It's looking like the debris is going to be bad for the race. :|

I think anyone who isn't worried about debris for the race is in denial. Experience says that once the debris is there, it takes quite a while for it to go away. And the wind on the lake is so unpredictable that it's hard to tell where it will be at any given time. In pre dam repair days, I can remember runnin' the lake absolutely clear and suddenly hit a mine field. Only time will tell....

I can't believe I'm agreeing with you. DAMMIT.

But yes, I was on a boat ride with bubbles a couple of yrs ago. The lake was clear, so we thought. We hit something under the water and poof the outdrive was completely gone, and we started to sink. That was a day I'll never forget.

I just wonder what it looks like down at the Rock House or how high it got thru all this.

Hello out there, I have been hiding for a while!!!!

The lake is up to 697+ feet and it is a REAL mess down around Burnside Marina. It is a lovely chocolate brown color and it looked like you could almost walk across the lake on Sunday from the mouth of the South Fork! :-o

I don't know what it's like at the West end of the lake but I think it is going to take more than a week to clear at the East end.

On the bright side the boat has been in the water and on the Hoist for two weeks now and ready to roll!
