POLAR PLUNGE

Post by bubbles »

It's that time people...and looking at the weather this morning made me realize just how cold that water is going to be NEXT WEEKEND! This is for special olympics, a really good cause! I'd greatly appreciate any and all donations to my personal page. And specifically EHillman....since he won't have me as a friend on crackbook....LOL! I have a team of girls (or shall we say COUGARS) jumping...as "team cougar"....costumes should be fun and interesting! I'm posting my link and appreciate all the support I can get! Thanks again....... Karen

Hello E, Bubbles. Well I guess we could come up with some subjects to stir up the folks. One that was funny to me was the folks on the luxury liner who were on board for five days without air conditioning and the human waste onboard I'm told was beyond belief. 4200 hundred people on a 900 foot ship. The thought of mostly well to do folks who had to smell each other for 5 long days somehow made me laugh. .........As far as the plunge Mr.Snickers and I will attempt to get on down to see Bubbles freeze her buns off................Southforkwally

I don't think she has any out there or at least didn't this morning? But I would surely be happy if she posted some here. All she has to do is browse to where she has the picture stored and then either hit submit or add file. Size don't matter here. If there is a issue we'll fix that. ;)

I want to thank first Eric Hillman....for donating on my donation page, for a great cause! I also have so many others to thank as well, just not sure who is members here but I will name a few who are..._____, relax, skinny dipper, all4thenookie (normae and douglas), dj cardinal, toon, and kdfwr 911! If I missed anyone, I prolly named you on lc.com or on facebook! The water was very cold....but I have jumped when it was (or seemed colder)...I remember the time they had to break the ice first! It was a nipply 41 degrees and felt like pins and needles. I have a great bunch of girls that shared the experience with me! We all had lunch at the Harbour and went to rockin rod's for an after party. Was a great day for a great cause and again...want to thank each and every one of you who donated or at least thought of us!
