Please keep this little feller in your thoughts
Our niece had Riley a week ago Sunday at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He was born with mulitiple problems including holes in his heart. After being moved to UK, he was later transferred to Kosair Childrens Hospital in Louisville. He had a 7+ hr open heart surgery yesterday with many more strikes against him. 26 machines hooked to him. Diagnosis is DiGeorge syndrome.

The staff of Kosair Childrens,UK and LCR have shown SO much compassion to Riley...THANK YOU!!!!
Whether your religious or not, I ask you to at least keep him in your thoughts if not your prayers.
My problems no longer exist after seeing him today.
Thank you! DMS

May God be with this baby and comfort it while providing support to the family.

You have my prayers. There are not many places that could be any better to care for him. He will be in my prayers and my thoughts.
Re: Please keep this little feller in your thoughts
God bless this very precious baby and his family. May we learn many life lessons from this dear child. You are so right DMS...our priorities and problems pale in comparison to Riley's struggles. God be with you all during this difficult time. Keep the faith!

All thoughts and prayers to Riley and his family. God is looking down on him and taking care of him. All things are possible through Him.

Re: Please keep this little feller in your thoughts
He woke yesterday after being removed from induced coma. His mother, Jody, said he opened his eyes, complained a little and his kidneys functioned for first time without being medically assisted.
Doctor ballparked 3-4 weeks intense medical treatment barring no complications.
Thank you for thinking of little Riley!

I just saw this, hope things are going well and keeping Riley in my prayers. Let me know if you need anything while you are in town. We are pretty close to Kosair Hospital.

Re: Please keep this little feller in your thoughts
Thanks LC and everyone else. Riley got to come home yesterday. His parents were given CPR and other training. Still a long road but the power of prayer has been shown. THANKS!
