Temp reports. lol
It was 2 degrees on my back yard temp sensor as well as in the driveway on my truck sensor. About a mile up the road -1 and then in Newtown, KY it was -4.. sheeeewww!
Last nights forecast I think was 5-8 degrees for the low. If we saw -4 with that forecast we are in trouble next week.
Started to make one of these for RE3 last night and got busy with firewood and forgot. Oh well maybe tonight or tomorrow.

I'm headed to FL in 2 weeks so get rid of that cold air. I would have thought you had built up enough hot air since you got down there to keep it warm.re3too wrote:Hey.....danged furnace kicked in! The high today was 54. Possible freeze next Tues. and Wed.

Left Madeira Beach yesterday at 4:00 am. It was 53°. That was going to be almost the high for the day. Took off a day early. Got home last evening about 6:30. It was 18° here. It was in the low 30s in north Florida as we went through.
Re: Temp reports. lol
We have the possibility of frost next Tues. & Wed. AM! About 3 years ago we lost a lot of landscaping (dumba$$ developers put in cheap, not hardy! ) We drove around to see what survived and replaced with those type of plants. But my flowers will have to be brought in or covered.

Re: Temp reports. lol
Yep we were 52 yesterday around 5PM and on my way to work around 7am it was 1 degree.
QUITE A DROP! Tomorrow looks worse. But the last forecast I saw it appeared the cold was going away quicker then they were saying last week. Looks like Wed we get back into 30s and up from there.

We were actually colder last Friday morning than this morning... The weekend looks like cold rain. I'd rather colder temps and snow than friggin rain in the 30s and 40s...

Re: Temp reports. lol
My little indoor/outdoor weather station is currently showing -8.2. That's the coldest it's been since I got the thing eight years ago. I checked the min/max last Friday(?) morning when I saw it was -4.9 when I woke up, but the min. at the time was -6. something. I don't remember when that was.
Still not as bad as the winter I had to work in NW Minnesota four or so years ago. It went nearly a week staying below 0, with nightly lows of -25 or worse. That was the cutoff point for my work van. Anything below that, I needed a jumpstart. I quit that job soon after.

Well, still -6 around the house (outdoor thermometer in back yard and truck sensor), just a mile south it was -8 and stayed that way all the way to just north of Lexington.
