A friend sent me this today, I agree wholeheartedly!

Like a lot of folks, I have a job. I work, they pay me. I pay my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit. In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.


What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who don't have to pass a urine test.Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on their feet. I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butt, doing drugs, while I work. . . . Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

I need a politician to start a new program.....

I guess we could title that program, 'Urine or You're Out'.

I can see that this Forum is in no way fair and balanced

What do you mean by that? Do you not agree that a urine test should be passed to get public assistance?

Thanks for sharing that. The total years my kids were in school, my ONLY goal was to be able to be at home when they came home from school, never happened, still sad about it.

Dolphin, I think you misunderstood my point here.... absolutely had nothing to do with any political party!!!!

I personally know MANY of all walks, colors, religions (claimed), who continually suck the system for all they can get! I have people come in looking for a job and will ask if we can pay them "cash" (same as "under the table") because they will lose their public assistance!! (BIG balls) Ok, I'm gonna stop now, getting emotional and I guess that it shouldn't be done here, just wanted to make a point...

think of all of the "unemployed" we could put to work testing pee!

Right on....Don't get me started either. Before the insurance business, I managed a large grocery store. I've seen what comes through with their with their food stamps which about
%10 deserve to get. And they keep having kids..

I bet they were eating better than you too.

I personally knew a young girl who was scared she would have no place to live.... she was going to have her 16th birthday that year and her mother told her she would HAVE to get pregnant because she was going to lose her allotment on her when she turned 16. If she had a baby, they would get more income... The school year ended and I do not know if she got to finish school or not.

I had employees that were in public housing (free of charge) and had food stamps (free of charge) had their electric bill paid (free of charge) and even got a cash refund if the electric bill was under "budget" (free of charge) and refused a promotion because it would cause them to make too much! God Bless America!!

Thank God change is coming/here! (LOL)
