I'll say this, I truely hope he is successful, I hope he can turn the economy around, I wish he wouldn't bring the troops home as loosers once again(turn the boys loose and let them level that godforsakin place). Having said all that, he needs to be nervous because the press has a habit of building folks up so they can tear them down, and he has a long way to fall. I hope it doesn't happen, he is saying all the right things right now, if he keeps trying to govern from the center has is saying he will, then he is going to have to rein in Harry the Dumb*ss and San Fran Nan, that's when his problems will start. Lets see how he deals with those idiots.

I'm with ya on this Lock5, I wonder if he has a clue just what all is gonna HIT him in the next 4. As far as the media is concerned, I think he really would like them to let the whole "race" thing rest, he does seem to be uncomfortable when this comes up. They (media) are touting this as America has "finally" accepted a black man for president... well hell, has any others ever ran??? I recall many wanting Colin Powell to run. They have the whole friggin world pumped over a black man, hell, it's history just because we have a new president... PERIOD.

Did you see the "concert" on the lincoln memorial steps yesterday? Samual Jackson going on and on and on about who made this possible, i.e. Rosa Parks, Martin Luther, etc. etc. Hellloooo, it was the 'American Citizens" who made this possible!!!!

As usual the Media and the people will make what they want of this and I am sure everyone has their own motivation for how they feel about this President.

Mine is one and one only and that is the hope that he has the ability that he seems to have and is able to rise above all the Media Hype (Circus) and get the job done. We all need to hope for that!
