Full Moon Aug. 5th
Wednesday will be a full moon. It is refered to as the "Sturgeon Moon".
Last night it was so bright we didnt need to use our head lights while on the way to Cave Springs Marina.

Yes my country friend. The Sturgeon Moon.
You can bet your socks that the folks who built the cabin on the back of your place knew the names for all of the moons. I am supprized you dont!!
Here to refresh your memory...
January......Wolf Moon.
February.... Snow Moon duh.
March........Worm Moon.
April..........Pink Moon.
May.......... Flower Moon.
June......... Strawberry Moon.
July.......... Buck Moon.
August ..... Sturgeon Moon.
September. Corn Moon.
October..... Harvest Moon (ever hear of that one?)
November.. Beaver Moon.
December.. Cold Moon.
A day sepnt not learning something is a day wasted.! So hope I have saved you from wasting a day!
